NASA is estimating the Artemis program, including landing astronauts on the Moon by 2024, could cost taxpayers between $20 and $30 billion.
That's well less than the overall cost of ISS, for example.

That's $4 to $6 billion a year in additional funding for NASA over the next five years. That's not a lot of money out of a Federal budget that's over $4 trillion a year.
