Lunar Pole

Some scientists are warning that human activity at the lunar south pole could compromise the scientific value of the area.

NASA is planning to land humans there in 2024.

That's why there needs to be international rules on the exploration of the Moon and even limits on the exploitation and colonization of the Moon.

In my opinion, a maximum of 10% of the-- polar areas-- on the lunar surface should be allowed to be colonized or exploited. And a maximum of 1% of the lunar surface (~380,000 square kilometers) in general should be allowed to be colonized or exploited by individual nations or by private companies under the rules of an individual nation.
