UFO: Opinion

What are the objects  in the sky the Pentagon is now, finally, after decades, acknowledging?  From a historical perspective, assuming current sightings are somehow related to sightings decades ago, the objects cannot be either Chinese or Russian.  Not Chinese because decades ago China was a poor nation lacking the industrial, techmological, and scientific bases to build such advanced craft.  If he'd had them, Mao would have pursued a much more aggressive foreign policy.  Not Russian because we have reports that during the Cold War similar UFOs messed with both American and Soviet ICBM bases/  If Khrushchev, or Kennedy, had had such craft, there would have been no Cuban Missile Crisis.

So,, what are they?  We might be forced  to an exotic conclusion.  Or two.  Or more.
